Kg. Selamat, May 21st, 2024 – In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidil Adha, the residents of Kg. Selamat received a generous donation of two cows to be sacrificed as part of the religious observance. The donation aimed to support the community in performing the sacrificial rites and sharing the meat with those in need.
The ceremony was held in accordance with Islamic traditions, with the meat distributed among the villagers, especially to the less fortunate, including orphans, single mothers, and elderly residents. This act of charity is not only a religious obligation but also a reflection of the strong community spirit in Kg. Selamat.
